Who We Are

Cheragh (چراغ) means “light” in Farsi — and that’s exactly what we aim to be.

We are a community of Iranian volunteers based in the Netherlands, united by a simple belief: that even small gestures can make a real difference in people’s lives. Cheragh is our way of staying connected to the people back home who need support, while building something meaningful together here.

What We Do

Through our online shop, we offer handmade products, postcards, artwork, food, and digital creations — all provided by our volunteers at cost. Every euro of revenue goes directly to people in need in Iran. No middlemen, no overhead, no salaries. Just a straight line from your purchase to someone’s life getting a little easier.

How It Works

Our volunteers contribute their time, skills, and products freely. When you buy from Cheragh, you’re not just getting something beautiful or delicious — you’re participating in a chain of generosity that stretches from the Netherlands all the way to Iran.
